General Information
The private pilot licence theory examination is without doubt a daunting experience for most pilots.It's the first time we are introduced to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority CyberExams system and it's hard to know what to expect. Our PPLA practice exams have been written with these concerns in mind. By the time you sit the real thing you will be thoroughly prepared and know exactly what to expect.
Exam Syllabus
The exam will test your knowledge of the 7 aviation subjects (aerodynamics, aircraft general knowledge, meteorology, air law, performance, navigation and human factors) to the PPL(A) standards listed in the Part 61 Manual of Standards of Aeronautical Knowledge. The questions are presented in multi-choice format and are each worth 1, 2 or 3 marks depending on the level of difficulty. You can expect 55 to 60 questions, and to pass you must achieve a minimum score of 70%. You will have 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the exam, which for a well prepared candidate is more than adequate.To Qualify
Prior to attempting the PPL examination, you must have passed a Basic Aeronautical Examination and have it appropriately endorsed in your log book.Attempt Exam

There are 7 subject exams in total which may be attempted in any order, but must all be successfully completed within a two year period.Exam Syllabus

Air Transport Pilot Licence (Aeroplane) Theory (ATPL)
General Information
There are 7 subject exams in total which may be attempted in any order, but must all be successfully completed within a two year period.These exams are notoriously difficult. Candidates will be tested on knowledge based around RPT operations, multi-crew environments and B767 and B727 transport category aircraft. It is important that you do not attempt the real exams until you are thoroughly prepared, major airlines can request your ATPL examination result papers (pass or fail) before you even get an interview. Our practice exams are as close to the real thing as you can get to help your study preparation.
